CHANGE
What to do?
Do you feel like there is a time in your life where you have to make some BIG changes, either because you are forced to or choose to?
I have reached that stage, being forced to make some drastic changes.
I have been at home due to a really inconsiderate abscess which has been my bubble since September 2015, 5 months now...
Inconsiderate... because it has forced me to look at how I am living my life and I was quite happy with how things were before this. My comfort zone.
Inconsiderate.... because physically I cannot do what I please, even what we take for granted like sitting down, going to work, driving my car, sleeping, bathing, etc has become painful.
Inconsiderate... because I have to look at my diet and make the changes if I am to live a healthier longer life.
This abscess is temporary.... I hope, but has forced me to look at my life, my future plans and what to improve as I get older. It takes a simple anal abscess to stop you in your tracks and rethink your life.
You see when you are under 40 and healthy, there is a lot of life ahead and planning for later is not a priority.
So I have had to make some decisions:
1. DECLUTTER
Living minimally really reduces stress. I have been told this for a long time, but as a crafter this is difficult.
Take time while being at home to get rid of "stuff" you no longer use or need. Separate this into 3 categories. a) to sell b) to give away c) to keep
TO SELL:
Where? - I have returned to my eBay, Etsy and Amazon sites and started selling what I don't need or want and that has some value.
Local Facebook sites where you can sell all kinds of items.
This way someone can use it and it can be recycled. I am a firm believer of reduce, reuse and recycle.
What?: my clothes, hand made crafts, books, cds, DVDs, gadgets, fabric, etc
