Gastrocnemius!

What???  This may be in the back of your mind if you are reading this blog.
This is what Wikipedia says:
In humans, the gastrocnemius muscle (/ˌɡæstrɒkˈnmiəs/ or /ˌɡæstrəkˈnmiəs/; plural gastrocnemiiLatin, from Greek γαστήρ "stomach" andκνήμη (knēmē) "leg"; meaning "stomach of leg", referring to the bulging shape of the calf) is a very powerful superficial bipennate muscle that is in the back part of the lower leg. It runs from its two heads just above the knee to the heel, a two joint muscle. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gastrocnemius_muscle).
I am thinking GREAT! "stomach" =  food! and "calf muscle" = Run.
Actually, I just love the word gastrocnemius, and also sternocleidomastoid; the way they roll off your tongue...  just words I have learnt in the days when I was studying  anatomy and physiology.  I am a bit weird that way.
This is my beginning on this journey of blogging,
But first this was my beginning.. my mother and father with me many moons ago.
